Stack Flash Video Navegación por tira de película Reconocimientos de diseño web
The site's navigation is a strip of 35 mm film running vertically down the middle of the screen, perforations along both sides and the optical soundtrack at the margin. Each frame is a piece of work. To go through a production company's portfolio, you run the film.
Concept
Nobody hires a production company for what it says about itself: they hire it by watching. So I cleared everything out of the way except the material.
The navigation is a strip of 35 mm film running down the centre of the screen, with its perforations and its optical track, one frame per job. You run the strip, pick a frame, and the commercial opens with the only credits that matter to whoever is hiring: director, client, title and running time. To the right, the client list with each brand's campaigns nested underneath — which is the entire sales argument, visible without a single click.
The rest of the site steps aside on purpose: endless grey ground, light typefaces and a single accent of colour on the film. The only thing meant to be looked at is the footage.
