Four objects on a white ground —a microphone, a CD, a pair of headphones and a keyboard— and nothing else. Each one is a section. The fourth opens a piano you can actually play, its keys mapped to your computer keyboard.
Concept
A recording studio gets hired on one thing only: how what comes out of it sounds. Everything else —the photographs of the desk, the equipment list, the paragraph about quality and commitment— is noise around that question.
So the site is four objects on white and nothing more: a microphone, a CD, a pair of headphones and a keyboard. The CD opens the portfolio, which is a drawn stereo and seven pieces of work you can play right there — the sales argument and the demonstration on the same screen.
The fourth object is the one that makes the site memorable: a two-octave piano you play with your computer keyboard. It sells nothing, leads to no section and measures nothing. It is what a recording studio would hand somebody who walks in: go on, play for a while.
