A white round-cornered window floating on grey, and inside it the Paraguayan countryside at full screen: karanda'y palms cut against an orange sunset, wooden pens in the sun. The name written in thin white over the photograph, with the silhouette of a cow standing in for the full stop.

Concept

A broker owns no cattle: it sells other people's cattle, and its product is judgement. The whole site starts from one sentence that sums up the trade: "the owner's eye fattens the herd, CGSA's experience fattens your margin".

My favourite section is Animal Welfare, because we did not write it as an ethical statement but as an account: good loading practice, transport crate design and, at the end, losses caused by poor handling. An animal mishandled on the journey arrives in worse shape and is worth less — that is the argument a producer listens to.

I built it as a white window floating on grey, with the logo on a tab sticking out like the flap of a folder, full-bleed ranch photography inside and text that unfolds over the image instead of changing page.
