The official voice of the Gumarelo. A black-and-white site —the club's colours— built around the three things a fan looks for: what happened, who is playing and how many times we won. It opens with La Huerta stadium full screen at sunset, without a word on top, and from there on it is all archive: more than 340 news stories, the full squad with nicknames, 30 titles and ten chapters of history.
Concept
Libertad is the winningest club in Paraguayan football this century. For a fan, that is not a statistic: it is an identity. And this site is where that identity is written by the club itself, not by the press or a WhatsApp group.
News is what gets used most and weighs most: more than 340 stories with the club's own account of each match — who was called up, what minute the penalty came, what changes the coach made. That is what separates an official site from a news portal: it does not do headlines, it informs. Honours is the most moving page and the simplest: thirty trophies from 1910 to 2025, each with its year and a star. History turns the club's memory into a journey of ten chapters, from the founding in 1905 to the Libertad of '55. And the First Team introduces the squad the way the terraces name them, with the nickname next to the name.
Black and white, like the shirt, with heavy slab-serif display type for headings and a background that is not flat white but a faded photograph of the stadium. The home page is a single decision, and it is the best one on the site: La Huerta stadium at sunset, full screen, with no claim and no carousel. A football club site is updated several times a week all year round: the value lies less in the visual effect than in a back end simple enough for the press team to publish a story twenty minutes after the final whistle.
